May the only ghost that comes to stay, Be the Holy Ghost to guide your way. May the only spirit you chance to meet, Be the spirit of love and warm friends sweet, May the only tricks you are asked to do, Be the trick of getting a friend or two.
~Halloween Is Not My Thing~
God bless one and all and please be safe!
This is just my feelings on the matter so
I'd like to write a poem about it!
They say;"To each their own"
When it comes to "halloween"
Spare me the greetings;
I'd rather pass and leave it alone.
Although there are costumes that
aren't based on evil,
I'd rather pass on this " so called holiday "
Instead...I'd rather focus on Jesus.
Halloween allows for too much havoc wreaked
on our children,
Evildoers' take this chance,
To tamper with the candy that can hurt or
even kill them!
Bottom line...this world is changing,
It is no longer safe.
Halloween has turned into; the devils holiday!
Just another chance...for evildoers to turn
our children into prey.

~Strangers....Candy~
I've said it before ,I'll say it again
Halloween is not my thing
This world isn't as safe as it was before
Predators are lurking behind closed doors
The devil awaits this celebrated day
By using his followers to taint the candy
Parents of the world take heed
Safety above all is what children need
Alot of parents are cautious and aware
Still there are some that don't even care
Our children are gifts from God above
It is up to us to protect and love
I'm not trying to judge or even preach
For the love of our children...please teach
Never to take candy from a stranger
For in the end it could lead to danger
Take them to firestations and people you know
For the safety of children
Protect and let grow
