Jesus...My Sweet Jesus....
You've been so good to me
I messed things up trying to do them my way
When all I had to do was get on my knees and pray
A blessed year I have received
I've never felt you nearer to me
I Praise you Lord for helping me through
I wouldn't want to awake without you
The devil is a liar and comes in many disguises
Through grief of loss loved ones,tears filled my eyes
Then I got a revelation...much to my surprise
Your words bring peace, I finally realized
Now the devil tries to attack me with pain
He'll not get my heart and soul for with you I remain
I wonder if he'll ever get a clue
That my love is steadfast for you
Your words will not return void
I hope soon,the devil learns I'm getting annoyed
Jesus you are the same yesterday,today and tomorrow
Thank-you for guiding my life and removing past sorrow
