Your love is celebrating 31 years
You comfort each other in heartaches and tears
You spend your days truly as one
Both writing poetry and watching
your shows as they nightly come on
Taking time to enjoy all of nature
Taking photos when you are both able
Packing picnic baskets and going for a drive
Enjoying life to the fullest at home
Or in the countrysides.
Joyce loves to cook,Dave loves to grill
Together they prepare most of their meals
Just to not get into a rut
Dave takes Joyce to dinner
Then a movie or shopping and stuff
Your love is truly to be commended
A love that God would sure recommend
For God wants all marriages to be strong
Saying you're sorry if you do something wrong
This through a short period I have seen in you
