"My Flowers Are My Girls"

      

I had this thought for a poem or prose

If flowers could talk what would they say

I only imagine as I walk pass their way

I am a ROSE;

Among the loveliest that grows

In many colours a favorite

To many I suppose.

I am an IRIS;

Plant me and you will see

I multiply brilliantly,Just thin me out

To share with friends and family

I am a LILY;

I come in many forms

Plant all my types

Each year I'll bring you more

Beauty for all to adore.

I am a TULIP;

I'm pretty as can be

Many colours and types to please

Plant one of each

Displaying beauty for all enjoy me.

I am a GLADIOLUS;

My stalks are tall and bold

Brilliant and lovely

Sprays of colours to behold.

I am PETUNIAS:

You'll love to plant me each year

Lasting til freeze

Just pluck the dead blooms

I spread like wildfire give me room.

I am a proud owner of these and more

So I must share the one I adore

My most lovely,the bleeding heart

It has a biblical meaning too

For me it also stands for

The blood, sweat,love and tears

I've spent on them all over the years!

I hope you enjoyed a tour through my garden of love

Jesus has really blessed me with these to LOVE!
