In Loving Memory Of Christopher Reeve
Sept.25,1952~Oct.10,2004

Since I can remember I watched you on T.V.
I enjoyed all your roles along with my family.
What a true hero the world has lost
For beyond your role as playing superman
God chose you to inspire ,by paying the ultimate cost
A man full of life, although your  last years were impaired
You still managed to be a spokesman giving hope for all to share
Dearest friend it is hurtful for many to let you go
God knows when it's our time, and he knows our heart
Only he would know your job was o'er,and the time to depart
There were millions praying for you,
many more than you would know
You fought a good fight
Finally losing the battle,Oct.10th,on a Sunday night
There's no wheelchairs in heaven for sure
You and Mattie Stepanek will be best buddies
I  bet as soon as you walked thru heavens door.
God Bless your family and comfort them each day
Enjoy walking upon heavens streets that are all gold paved
It's hard to say goodbye to one as special as you
Your smile was precious, your strength was too
Admired by many, babyboomers will never forget
Christopher Reeve  a super man
A hero through and through ...
Your going away was in God's plan
"Somewhere In Time" We'll see you again!

Quotes From Reeve

AP

On Life After the Accident:
"I have less time for superficial talk... I am eager to tell the truth, and hear it from others, more than ever before."

On His Heroes:

"I believe that the real heroes today are ordinary people who persevere and endure against overwhelming obstacles."

On Acting After His Injury:

"I was worried that only acting with my voice and my face, I might not be able to communicate effectively enough... I was surprised to find that if I really concentrated, and just let the thoughts happen, that they would read on my face."

On Living With a Disability:

"I refuse to allow a disability to determine how I live my life."

On Whether He'd Mind Being Remembered as 'Superman':
"Not at all, as long as they also recognize some of the other work I've done."
